Show your community spirit and care for our local creeks by being part of California Coastal Cleanup Day. Become Active! Be A Volunteer! Turn the Tide on Trash! September 15, 2012 Begins at 9:00 a.m. (ends at 12:00 p.m.) Be one of 80,000 people across the state to take part in the upcoming 27th Anniversary of California Coastal Cleanup Day! Volunteers will remove debris from the coast, creeks, rivers lakes and shorelines all around California, protecting wildlife from harm while taking care of our environment. Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park Cleanup Site: - Borchard Community Park: 190 Reino Road, Newbury Park
Meet at the picnic area at the intersection of Newbury Park High School and Borchard Park, north of the tennis courts. Parking is available in the Borchard Community Center parking lot. Volunteers of all ages are welcome! Please bring your own recyclable bags for collected debris to avoid creating new waste!
